Hello neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at this second vehicle kit to use with your Brake Buddy Flat Tow Brake Systems, the Classic II and 2 or the Select II and 3. Now I wanna go ahead and put the part number there for you. So again, this will work as a second vehicle kit for your Brake Buddy Flat Tow Brake Systems, again, the Classic II and 3 or the Select II and 3. Now this will come with and have all the necessary wiring components to a second towed vehicle. So you can use your Portable Brake Buddy System in that second vehicle.
So basically, just pop it out, and then you can plug it in, all this would be on the second vehicle, you'd be good to go. So you're gonna get included with this kit, your breakaway system. It's gonna have the built-in breakaway pin. You know if you break away, put it back in to reset it, it's gonna have that quailed lanyard with it. So nice stretchy, you got the nice two hooks on both ends.
One would hook into the breakaway pin, obviously, all the zip ties, the mounting little bracket, and hardware that you need for that guy. You're also gonna get the battery charge line hit, that's gonna be this guy here. It's gonna come with all the necessary wires and everything. It's got nice wire coatings, and heat shrink, and whatnot on it, to keep it nice and safe for you for long lasting. And then of course you got your dash mount connector, that's this big guy here.
And again, very, very sturdy, wrapped up, nice, heavy duty. So again, you get this kit, you're gonna be able to connect a second vehicle to use with your rake Buddy Flat Tow Brake Systems, the Classic II and 3 or the Select II and 3. Pretty much what everyone else says. Clean installation. The trimming is not that bad if you have the right tool. Even if you screw up the trimming a little bit it gets covered. Bolts were a little difficult but if you've done anything in your life you can do this. It kills me to see people spend big money on things like this installation.
the kit arrived just like I was told it would, have not put it on because of the weather, will install whenthe weather gives me a break

This 1 year review is relative to the brake buddy parts only, as this was a full flat tow parts install. My only issue with the Brake Buddy portion is that the pigtail from the unit to the dashfirewall plug in doesnt seem to last. Not sure why. Have gone through two of them.
